The extension isn't showing up on pricing pages
Make sure the extension is enabled in Chrome. Go to chrome://extensions and check that Explain Legal is toggled on. The extension activates automatically on pages that match pricing/checkout patterns — if the page doesn't trigger it, try visiting a well-known SaaS pricing page like notion.com/pricing or linear.app/pricing.
I paid but still see the paywall
Your payment may take up to 60 seconds to process. Try refreshing the page. If the issue persists after 5 minutes, email us at
romain.loupias@gmail.com with the email you used to pay and we'll fix it manually.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If you're not satisfied within the first 7 days, email us and we'll refund your payment in full.
How does the free tier work?
You get 3 free ToS scans. After that, unlimited access is €5/month. Your scan count is tied to your email address.
Does Explain Legal work on all websites?
It works on most SaaS pricing pages. It detects pricing/checkout pages automatically and fetches the Terms of Service from the same domain. Coverage is approximately 85% of major SaaS tools.
